How To Properly Size A Snowboard

The best way to size a snowboard is by weight and riding style

For instance I am 5'10" 185 lbs and ride 3 different sizes for different riding styles

  1. For all mountain/powder riding I have a 156 to provide a stable base at speeds

  2. For park riding I ride a 154-153 to provide a board that is easy to throw around and nimble

  3. For street riding I size all the way down to a 151 for ease of getting on rails due to the shortened nose and tail

Overall the size of a snowboard should not be dictated by your height but by weight and how you ride.  Riders with a larger foot such as a 13+ can look at wide sized boards.  Realistically height is the last way to size a snowboard
